Yeah, I *know*! I wnated to watch it, but I fell asleep ’cause of my weirdo work hours. I’m kinda scared about how folks will take Jay Leno when he gets back now. I mean, he was funnier on The Tonight Show than poor ol’ Conan, but he’s just not nearly as likable. You want Conan to be your next-door neighbour, and you want Leno to… well, be made fun of in really bad comedy movies.

you can watch it on hulu: http://www.hulu.com/watch/122598/the-tonight-show-with-conan-obrien-fri-jan-22-2010
i don’t agree that jay was ever funny, but i am curious how he’ll be perceived when he comes back. i would like to see him get booed, but i know he had friendly audiences through all of this, so he’ll probably be just as accepted as ever…

You’re right. It was a good show, but also really sad. Strange mix of emotions… especially over something as silly as a late night TV show.

I watched it all and part of Jimmy Fallon. I thought he went out with a lot of class and I think he will be back in the fall, probably on fox. I hope no one wants to watch Jay!

we watched the beginning of fallon, when they sang “it’s so hard to say goodbye to yesterday.” i’ll have to watch that episode on hulu though, i saw in the commercial where questlove was wearing the conan mask, and that looked pretty funny.
