I left my lights on when I went to the store on the way home. I could not get my car to start, so I got out my jumper cables and found somebody in the parking lot to help me. He pulled up next to me and his car stalled out because he was out of gas.

haha, doh! my old car wasn’t very good at letting me know when i left my headlights on, so i had a dead battery after work about half the time when it was overcast enough for headlights, but light enough that i couldn’t actually see they were on. one time my boss was helping me jump it and i put the jumper cables on the wrong sides and his car shut off… luckily it only blew a fuse, but it was kinda scary for a while.
