It just occurred to me… I’ve actually been following “My Life in Scribbles” with more regularity than “American Elf” these days. I had to trek through close to a month’s worth of Kochalka stuff, whereas I check this site every day. 🙂
Yeah, I know, right? What you *should* do is start charging folks, like, $1.95 a month (less than the cost of beer!), update it sporadically, and only those who have paid the “Subscription Fee” will get to know what happened in those days when you didn’t update.
Hey, even include some Nemesis songs for subscribers only! That’ll force your fans to give you 1.95 a month (less than the cost of beer – ’cause, you know, your target audience is constantly comparing the cost of living to the price of a beer)!
And then, and then you’ll come up with a video game idea – “Ashley Smash,” where you can play the character of a cartoon character named Ashley who smashes random stuff on an alien planet – and try to get your fans to come up with a thousand bucks to finance the idea.
I’ll get Disney on the phone to reject all of your television cartoon proposals, and find some doomed FOX show to opt out “How to Eat Kittens” as a theme song!
