He got a lot of flack from people about that, including letters where folks were saying they wouldn’t be able to enjoy his work anymore. As he put it, “It’s a TV show. At the end of the day everyone goes home and nothing you saw was real.”
As for workout music, I’m positive he stays away from The Flag. For whatever reason, Greg Ginn HATES his guts, and Rollins tries to stay away from listening to too much of his own stuff…
yeah, i’ll admit he played the role really well and looked the part, but if you’ve ever heard rollins speak you know he’s nothing like that. he’s much smarter, for one. haha.
i figured he probably doesn’t listen to black flag too much, but didn’t know or forgot the thing about greg. i figured he wouldn’t be as extreme about not listening to his own black flag as danzig is with misfits anyway.
